about

12:29's Self Help is what happens when you block yourself off from your surroundings, dig deep, and are left unhappy with what you've found. Dark grainy tones shift in crisis with patterns that disappear as soon as they repeat. 12:29 employs techniques that include feedback loop mixing, tape degradation, strange distortion, backwards recording methods and odd signal paths to produce the fuzzed out and bleak sequel to their debut tape recorded 6 years ago. 60 minutes of existential dread-ridden noise created with bucket brigade delay, radio signals, found cassettes and an audio mixer. Hopeless bedroom industrial. Music concrete to call it quits to.
